Ireland Music Week

Ireland Music Week (IMW) is our annual independent music showcase and conference festival held in Dublin, that highlights emerging Irish talent across a wide range of genres, including indie, rock, pop, folk, hip hop, and electronic music.

The festival offers Irish artists the opportunity to perform in front of reputable industry professionals like promoters, record labels, music supervisors, managers, agents, and media from both Ireland and abroad. Each year, over 80 international delegates attend IMW, all eager to discover and collaborate with Irish acts. Our goal is to open doors for Irish artists internationally and accelerate their global careers.

IMW also functions as a key networking hub, featuring daytime conferences that provide invaluable information into the music industry and international markets. In the evenings, the festival hosts over 50 bands across multiple venues in Dublin. These performances allow Irish artists to showcase their talents to international delegates, local industry professionals, and enthusiastic fans alike.

  • The goal of showcasing artists is to highlight Irish acts that are ready to expand their reach internationally. Every year, we invite bookers from top international showcase festivals, giving our artists a fantastic opportunity to catch their attention.

    Showcase performers get the chance to share their music and connect with industry professionals, opening doors to new opportunities.

  • During the day, we host a variety of panels at our festival hub, where artists and professionals can gain insights into the music industry both nationally and internationally. Topics include Management, International Touring, Approaching US & UK Media, and more.

    It’s a great opportunity to connect and network with the delegates from around the world. Tickets for the conference are open to everyone and can be purchased in advance.

  • Artists performing at Ireland Music Week will receive exclusive access to one-on-one speed sessions with delegates, along with other exciting opportunities. These include potential selection for programs like ACCESS by Warner Music Ireland. A number of artists from IMW 2024 were also chosen to play at MISNEACH.
